Since 1984, Neil Shore has worked in several aspects of the music industry. At age 14, Neil began working behind the scenes at Philadelphia's legendary 93.3 WMMR. From there Neil joined the Philadelphia Music Foundation (now the Philadelphia Music Alliance) to help promote the rich musical heritage in Philadelphia and the surrounding region.
Throughout the 90's, Neil Shore worked for Sony Music where he helped promote the music of legendary acts ranging from Ozzy Osbourne to Barbara Striesand and everywhere in between.
Neil joined Z88.9 in 2001. As Program Director and Music Director, Neil helped turn Z88.9 into a Nationally recognized radio station. To help share his passion for all things 80's, Neil created The Retro Rewind. Every week, Neil takes his listeners on a two hour trip back to the decade of decadence. He loves to feature those lost favorites that you haven't heard since back in the day. Don't miss out on his Back to the Future segment, where Neil brings you the latest music from all of your favorite 80's artists. You never know who will visit The Retro Rewind. Over the past 15 years, Neil's guests have included Rick Springfield, Journey, the GoGo's, the Bangles, and countless others.
